Accountant [United Arab Emirates]

 

The General Accountant is responsible for handling general accounting activities of On Time Group.

JOB CONTEXT & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Develop efficient commission & Incentive calculations.

2. Develop clearly auditable processes for the timely bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations for On Time Group.

3. Maintain all general ledger accounts and personnel budgetary balances for all On Time Group accounts.

4. Handle long and short term loans and interest on loans.

5. Compile periodic and special reports on Account matters, draft reports and provide documentation to internal and external auditors on the accounts

6. Liaise with Chief accountant for the ad hoc reports and monthly reports.

7. Contribute (as required) to identify areas of improvement in terms of general accounts processes, use of technology etc. and work to implement any changes.

8. Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary.

9. Provide information on the P&L and Balance sheet.

10. Performs related duties as assigned by Management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting.

· Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Accounting.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
