Objective:In collaboration with Business Practices Manager (BPM) and Legal & Compliance, the Business Practices Steward (BPS) provides support to all compliance programs for the subsidiary. The BPS will support the oversight of implementation of the evolving Compliance Program for our company in collaboration with the Country Compliance Committees and Regional International Legal & Compliance.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Business Practices Manager in daily activities to enhance awareness on Company’s Values & Standards, Corporate Policies and Compliance Policies, SOPs & Guidance.
Serve as “guardian” of all business-related policies and procedures that include compliance controls (excluding policies owned by Finance or HR).
Helping the BPM to ensure consistent and effective compliance standards are in place in the organization.
Supporting the implementation and operation of tracking / monitoring systems (e.g. EMPOWERBi, APPIAN, Coupa/Aravo)
Providing support to prepare for the Country Grants and Donations Committee
Helping with regular audits fore HCP interactions
Helping to prepare local training sessions on new and revised policies, processes and procedures.
Provide guidance to Business Stakeholders on queries relating to the local Code of Practice, Policies and Healthcare Professional (HCP) interactions.
Data Privacy activities
Qualifications:
Expertise in all compliance related aspects, including laws, regulations, procedures, policies and SOPs; awareness of international guidelines and rules
Familiarity with policies, compliance guidelines and data protection legislation
Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams
Pronounced diplomacy with strong negotiation skills
High ethical standards, being a role model of business compliance and integrity
Proven ability to develop sustainable cooperative professional relationships on all levels of the organization
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Requirements:
Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience: Desirable experience with Audit, Finance, Compliance, Legal or comparable business experience (i.e. Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Trials etc).
English Level: Medium - Advanced
